2015-2016

Heathers: The Musical

Performance Dates: October 8-10, 15-17 & 22-24, 2015

Veronica Sawyer was never particularly popular, but with a little work she finds herself in the middle of the most popular and most ruthless group of girls at Westerberg High, the Heathers. However everything changes when she meets J.D., the bad boy new kid who sets out on a quest to set the bullying social system straight…no matter the cost.


Dogfight

Performance Dates: December 3-5, 10-12 & 17-19

Eddie Birdlace is returning home from Vietnam in 1967. On his way the memory of Rose Fenny floods in and transports him 4 years prior. Rose is a shy waitress who becomes the subject of a cruel joke between Eddie and his buddies. When she discovers the truth behind Eddie’s intentions she changes the rules of the bet and teaches him a little about love and kindness. “Dogfight” is a moving pop-rock musical.


Grace

Performance Dates: January 28-30 & February 4-6

Grace Friedman, a professor and outspoken atheist, is participating in a “God Helmet” experiment attempting to disprove ‘god’. Meanwhile, her son is becoming a priest with Grace’s Jewish husband backing him up. When an incident challenges their incompatible ideologies, they must wisely choose their next step. “Grace” is a powerful look at inter-faith relationships within families and the global community.


Rapture Blister Burn

Performance Dates: March 17-19 & 23-26

Best friends Catherine and Gwen go their separate ways at the end of grad school: Catherine becoming a prominent feminist theorizer in New York, while Gwen becomes a wife and mother. 20 years later the two women cross paths and realize a yearning for the other’s life. They compete for the love of Don, Catherine’s ex-boyfriend and Gwen’s husband. An unflinching look at three generations of gender politics.


Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike

Performance Dates: May 12-14 & 19-21, 2016

Vanya and Sonia, siblings, live together after the passing of their ailing parents. Their sister, Masha, has abandoned the family to become a movie star. The housekeeper Cassandra has the ability to predict the future and warns Vanya and Sonia of something grim to come. Masha then shows up with her boyfriend Spike and stirs up conflict with the family, and even threatens to sell the house.
